  • An email account window will open, click on your email, and then click on Change.
  • A new window will open named ‘Change Email account’. Tap on More settings
  • Now go to the advanced tab option and uncheck the SSL encryption box there. 
  • Click Ok> Next and Finish. 
  • Restart the application.

Solution#2- Repair Outlook PST File:

If the first solution hasn’t worked for your pc. You can repair the PST files on your Outlook account. The repairing process is quite simple. It can be done by following these steps: 

  • Open File Explorer and hover over to program files> MS office> Office 12 folder. 
  • Now tap on the scanpst.exe file, and locate the flawed/corrupted files. 
  • Next, click on start and, the repair will start immediately. 
  • Once the process is completed, you will get a message showing Repair Complete. Click Ok. 
  • Restart the app to see if the error is fixed. 

Solution#3- Run Windows File Checker on your computer:

  • Tap on the Start button and write “Command” in the search bar. 
  • Press the Control (Ctrl) and Shift button simultaneously and click Enter. 
  • A dialog box will open.
  •  Click Yes
  • Now a black window will show up, write sfc/scannow on it and then press Enter. 
  • System File checker will scan and fix all the existing errors. 
  • Open the MS Outlook app.
