Path of Exile – How to Get Exalted Orbs

There are a number of ways to get more Exalted Orbs in PoE, and here is what you need to do to get them.

If you have been putting time into Path of Exile, then you will have noticed by now that the PoE currency that you acquire differs from typical RPG titles. Instead of hunting gold, we will be looking at the likes of PoE orbs. In this specific case, we will be looking at Exalted Orbs, which serve as the higher value currency in the endgame. You will want to be able to have as many as possible, but they can be difficult to get a hold of in bulk. Therefore, today we will be discussing ways in which you can get some Exalted Orbs.

Mapping

This is a very common way in which you can earn PoE currency with Exalted Orbs. Mapping with the Burial Chambers is something that has a process that you need to repeat over so that you get the coveted card known as The Doctor. The reason why this map is so important is that you will need this card to make the Headhunter belt. This particular card is worth 20 Exalted Orbs, and at the same time you, can expect to make a lot of experience at the same time. So, if you want to earn these PoE orbs and get some experience in at the same time, then this is a great method.

You can also use Guardian maps if you want to farm Exalted Orbs. You will need to collect Guardian maps firstly, then once you have enough you will then have to find a guardian to help you run them so the drop rate increases. Finding uber elders can grant you drops that can be very expensive, though you will get more orbs in the long run. There is also the option to carry on guardian farming, which is still a very useful method to get more PoE currency. If you are able to kill an elder though, then you can make a chain of up to 20 Exalted Orbs, but you are going to need PoE currency for it to be worth your time.

Farming Mobs

Another way to get your hands on Exalted Orbs is to farm mobs. The drop rate is rather low in this instance, though you do have the satisfaction of taking down mobs which is probably why it is such a popular method. Even though all mobs are capable of dropping this Path of Exile currency, there are areas that you can visit that have a better chance of dropping.

For example, the Burial Chambers that we mentioned earlier is a great place to visit for getting this Path of Exile currency. If you are a high-level player already, then uber elder farming here that we also discussed previously is a great way to get these PoE orbs. 20 Maps are needed to do this, but it will be more than worth your while.

Flipping PoE Currency

If you do want to find a simpler way of getting Exalted Orbs, then swapping out your lesser currency is a way to go. Depending on the league that you are in, you will need to firstly find out what the price of Exalted Orbs is so that we can make the most of this method. One trick to keep in mind is to avoid trading with NPCs. Instead, you should ensure that you are trading with players, as this means that you are getting more out of the Path of Exile currency that you are trading. There is always a way in which you can avoid having to craft gear too. If you would like to do so, then you can just purchase it outright whilst you are working your way through the method of currency flipping.

So as you can see, there are a number of ways for you to get Exalted PoE orbs in Path of Exile. Naturally, it is one of the hardest PoE currency to be able to get your hands on. That being said, its high value means that it can be extremely effective when it comes to end-game content.

Alternatively, if none of these methods suit you, then you of course always have the option of purchasing the Path of Exile currency online. If you were to do this for your PoE currency, then make sure that the site that you are buying from is reputable, and is able to provide customer reviews, as well as offering you a decent price for the Exalted Orbs that you will be purchasing from them.
